Homelessness at the holidays

Our new issue of The Uptown Exchange hit the streets yesterday. We’ll post a PDF of the paper soon on the Truman College Web site.

One of our main stories for December’s issue was about some of the social service providers in Uptown that help the homelessness – and specifically, how they help during the holiday season.

We also profiled Inspiration Cafe, headquartered just around the corner from the main Truman campus. Founder Lisa Nigro was part of a commercial for True North snacks and got to tell Inspiration Cafe’s story:
