City Colleges has made noise in the news over the last several weeks, as Mayor Emanuel has announced several new initiatives for CCC.
Another announcement came earlier this week with the news that $479 million would be directed to the Colleges to Careers Initiative. All CCC schools will undergo changes and shifts in curriculum.
The first two changes have been announced – a shift toward health and medical curriculum at Malcolm X, and logistics at Olive-Harvey.
There’s been no official announcement yet as to what’s in the pipeline for Truman. The Uptown Exchange has asked City Colleges for a statement on this initiative; we’ll have more on the details in the following weeks and in our upcoming print edition.
Would you like to see a particular focus at Truman? If so, what? Let us know in the comments.
