The play’s the thing: performances at Truman and HWC

By Patrick Erwin, editor-in-chief

The Truman Theater Project will be producing a new show this month – a free show that Truman students can see right here on campus.

The play is Neil Simon’s “The Odd Couple” and performances are in room 3426, Novar Hall, in the main campus building. Performers include Truman faculty members Rich Keitel (Oscar), Rick Reardon (Felix) and Thomas Lenane, as well as several Truman students.

The play runs from March 15 to March 24. Performances are 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays (March 15, 16, 22 and 23) and 1 p.m. on Saturdays (March 17 and 24). And admission is free.

And the Loop Players, the Harold Washington College drama troupe, will be performing Ken Kesey’s “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” on March 21-24 and March 28-31. For performance times, ticket prices and location, check out the Harold Washington College site for more details.
