Spring is in the air, and in addition to warmer temperatures and the re-emergence of sunshine, it’s also a busy season in the academic world. Truman students are planning their graduations, as well as their plans for transferring to other schools.
Truman will host a Transfer Expo this Thursday, Mar. 22, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the lobby of the main building.
Admissions counselors from 26 area colleges and universities are slated to be at the event. They’ll be available to answer questions and share information with potential students. The event is free, but you must present your City Colleges ID to enter.
One of the biggest challenges in researching the next step – and the potential next school – is trying to find a spot in your schedule that isn’t already occupied by classwork or study time. So having the Expo on campus makes it very easy to tap into that information.
If you can’t make Thursday’s event, you can also visit the Transfer Resources Center, in room 162 of the McKeon building, to talk with advisors about your transfer options.
